Market for Drama, conceived as "Gilt for beauty," was an online store that sold high-end makeup and published interactive collages in an online "journal."

The MfD front-end was an early, browser-based RIA. Based on a custom MVC framework—before the days of Backbone—it responded instantly and moved smoothly between states.

On the back-end, MfD comprised a custom commerce engine, a content- and inventory-management system, and a REST API to support the app.
